Morning Marmalade by numbers

It’s been another massive year for Morning Marmalade.

UQU’s free breakfast bar extended its operation to two mornings per week, serving free breakfast to hungry students short on cash and time.

If you’ve stopped by Morning Marmalade this year, thank you! Whether you’ve snatched a slice of toast before racing off to an early lecture or stuck around for a chat and a coffee, we really appreciate it.

With the year coming to a close we were curious to know just how much food we’ve gone through, so we crunched the numbers and came up with a few breakfast facts.

Volunteers

We’d also like to thank our excellent volunteers who gave up their mornings to serve breakfast, set up and pack down. UQU’s free breakfast initiative would not be possible without the work of these individuals and their 6am starts. If you'd like to get involved in Morning Marmalade 2016 please email our Student Rights Vice President's at [email protected] Even one hour a week can make such a difference!
