This bar & grill has all the vegetarian/vegan options you need! Chef TonNi has made sure that diners with plant-based diets have plenty of choice including a delicious roasted pumpkin salad; or the option to ‘Build Your Own’ burger with a tasty plant based patty or field mushroom.

To make it vegan simply ask the REDROOM team to remove the cheese, halloumi or aioli.

Pizza Caffe

The Pizza Caffe is now oh so vegan! Now everyone can enjoy a traditional Italian style pizza with a cheesy topping, with the addition of vegan cheese. All Pizza Caffe pizza bases are vegan, so just choose your favourite vegetarian pizza and add vegan cheese for just $3.

Menu highlights

Potato, roma tomatoes, dukkha, rocket, beetroot, walnut base and opt for vegan cheese.

Pumpkin, feta, onion, rocket, pinenuts – make it vegan by asking the Pizza Caffe team to remove the feta.

Main Course

New to Main Course is the Nourish Bowl- a tasty bowl of steamed rice topped with baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, mukimame beans and your choice of marinated tofu or tuna.

Breakfast, lunch, and a treat for something in-between - Darwin’s latest menu features a diverse range of vegetarian/ vegan dishes.

To Take Home

For ethical eating and inexpensive fruit and veg sign up to the UQU Food Co-Op. Each week the UQU Environment Collective pack bags of seasonal, organic fruit and veg sourced from Food Connect, a local Brisbane farming group. The UQU Food Co-Op runs every Wednesday throughout semester 4pm – 6pm.
