Despite the name of the club, all students (or even non-students) are always welcomed. Whether you are interested in Korean culture or a Korean international student needing assistance settling into life in Brisbane, come to UQKISS to feel a sense of belonging. Social Events:
UQKISS holds a variety of quality social events where you will get to meet and connect with other students who share a common interest. This year we will hold the welcome party every semester, MT (membership training), Talent show, Running Man, cocktail night and many more!
Dedication to Promoting Korean Culture:
As well as providing an inviting environment for Korean international students and students with interests in Korean culture, as a Korean society, we pursue to promote Korean Culture to our members and other students.
UQKISS provides Korean language classes every week during the semester, free of charge for all of our members. Our executives run the classes and we welcome Korean learners of all levels; beginner, intermediate and advanced. Furthermore, we hold events such as K-beauty classes and events based on Hansik (Korean Cuisine) to acknowledge the club’s cultural background and educate our members with Korean culture.
Of course! We offer a diverse range of cultural-related social events and Korean language classes for our members to experience a bit of the Korean culture.
