Diwali: Festival of Lights

Traditionally celebrated throughout South Asia and the Indian sub-continent, traditional Diwali celebrations are as diverse as the regions they come from.

Held on the darkest night of Spring, the festival represents the spiritual significance of light defeating darkness, good triumphing over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Typically one of the happiest holidays in the countries where it is celebrated, rituals include lighting diyas, candles and lanterns, fireworks displays, dancing, singing, feasting, colourful Rangoli art and more!

Join us on the 19th of October from 5:30pm in The Holt Room to celebrate this festive occasion including live performances, interactive stalls, henna tattoos, Rangoli art and a free delicious Indian feast!
