UQ Union invite students of all discipline, to engage in resurgent world-building through poetic story-telling. 📖

We seek poets that refuse to bend their knees towards the world as it is. We seek poems that foreshadow futures yet imagined, stories that can carry us another step further out of affliction.

Students can provide up to 3 poems, and visual/video poetry is welcome!

The Australian Grand Prix has finally returned!

To celebrate, UQFRS along with UQ Backyard Sports & UQ Motoring Club are inviting you to watch the race with them!

At Buffalo Bar in the city they have organised a Beer garden with 4 large screens to watch the race this Sunday.

All you need to attend is a proof of membership to any of the three clubs and to show them at the door! 🎉

It’s Autism Month! @uqudisability is holding a s

It’s Autism Month! @uqudisability is holding a stall this Monday the 11th of April from 11am to 2pm at Campbell Place, just outside of the Union Complex. We will have information flyers, free pizza, free fairy floss and DisCo merch, with people with lived experience of being an autistic* person running the stall to answer any questions.

*we want to recognise that while a lot of autistic people use identity first language we also know that some people use person first language, our choice of words is not to exclude and we welcome everyone that uses whichever wording makes them feel comfortable.
