Everyone loves a good pancake for breakfast, but not everyone loves the process of making them. So if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to make pancakes, you’ve found it! And don’t worry, there’s no pancake flipping needed here. Most importantly, with exams coming up you need to be on your A-game, so no more excuses on skipping breakfast!

Ingredients:

  • 30g of butter, melted

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons of milk

  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Method:

  1. Whisk together the melted butter and egg with a fork

  2. Mix in the vanilla extract, sugar, milk, flour and baking powder

  3. Once all ingredients are well combined, line a plate with baking paper and pour a third of the mixture onto the plate (or however thick you want your pancake, note that it will rise quite a bit) and spread out by tilting the plate

  4. Microwave for 1 minute, remove the pancake from the baking paper and repeat for the other two pancakes

  5. Add toppings of choice and enjoy!
