1. Vegan Garden Pizza – Pizza Caffe

 As the name suggests, the Vegan Garden from Pizza Caffe has all the delicious veggies you could want on a pizza. It’s topped with grilled eggplant, baby spinach, semi-dried tomatoes, Neapolitan tomato sauce and vegan cheese. Bonus…you can get this (or any other Meat Free pizza) for just 10 bucks every Monday.

2. Vegan Breakfast Board – Darwin’s

Get your day started right with a good old big brekkie. This Vegan Breakfast Board is a great alternative if you’re looking for a healthier or vegan option. Featuring dukkah pumpkin, avocado, house made cauliflower hummus, roasted tomato, garlic mushrooms, spinach with organic sourdough – this Vegan Breakfast Board is available all day at Darwin’s. Darwin’s is located next to the Biological Sciences Library.

3. Rainbow Wrap – On A Roll Bakery

Packed full of colour, nutrients and flavour is our new Rainbow Wrap available from On a Roll Bakery. A perfect option for when you’re on the run, the Rainbow Wrap is filled with fresh spinach, carrot, red cabbage, capsicum, falafels and with a house made tangy hummus dressing. It will only set you back $8.40 for a full wrap or $4.40 for a half wrap.

4. Power Crunch Salad – REDROOM

Save those calories for the more important stuff…like beer. The Power Crunch Salad has slaw, mung beans, kale, edamame beans and black beans, dressed in an oh-so-delicious green goddess dressing. Available at the REDROOM, in the UQ Union complex.

5. Fun Guy Burger – REDROOM

Life’s no fun without the Fun Guy. Available from the Reddo, grab your best mate and get the Fun Guy Burger into your belly. Served with beer battered chips, it’s has a grilled mushroom with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion jam, vegan aioli in a sweet potato bun.

6. Chickpea & Hummus Wrap – On A Roll Bakery

On a Roll Bakery are known for their tasty wraps and this crowd favourite is no different. The Chickpea & Hummus Wrap has spiced chickpeas, red onion, tomato, rocket and hummus in a spinach tortilla wrap. It’s vegan, healthy and cheap!

7. The Botanical – Pizza Caffe

A new addition to the Meat Free range this year, is The Botanical and it’s 100% vegan. It’s got dukkah spiced pumpkin, roasted red capsicum, spinach, caramelised onion, Neapolitan tomato sauce and vegan cheese on Pizza Caffe’s famous crispy thin base. Darwin’s Buddha Bowl is an all-time favourite, vegan and gluten friendly. This bowl of goodness has roasted dukkah pumpkin, avocado, spinach, red cabbage, house made cauliflower humus, red onion, grilled lemon, pepitas and sunflower seeds.

Move over Smashed Avo, because the Smashed Pea & Mushrooms on Rye is here. It features a pea and rocket smash with sautéed mushrooms, fresh rocket and beetroot relish on rye bread. This vegan option is a great way to get in your veggie count and is available at Darwin’s for dine-in or takeaway.

Got a hankering for a burger? Sink your teeth into the I’m a Vegan burger from the REDROOM. You’ll get a tasty lentil & chickpea patty with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, vegan aioli in a sweet potato bun, paired with their famous beer battered chips! If you haven’t heard of Chow Cacao, they’re the new kids on the block offering delicious raw organic vegan chocolate, handmade in Byron Bay. Their packaging is even eco-friendly.
