We are EBESS! The home of Electrical, Software, Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering at UQ.

Since forming in 2011, the Electrically Based Engineering Student Society (EBESS) has expanded to a community of over 850 students within the University of Queensland representing students from the following engineering disciplines:

Software Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering

If I'm not in an electrically based engineering degree, can I still join?

Of course! We are happy to have anyone from any degree join our society and come to our events.

Am I still able to attend events if I'm not a member?

Yes! However, our members get access to discounted ticket prices to all of our events.

Where can I purchase EBESS merchandise?
