The Queensland University Exchange Student Society (short QUEST) was founded by Australian students who returned from their own International study trips and found they didn’t get the local experience they were hoping for. It’s our job to make sure you leave Brisbane with a bunch of life-long friends, some great experiences – and maybe a couch to crash on somewhere around the world!
From our epic start of semester trip at Byron Bay, our Outback Camping Trip or our weekly Pub Nights, we have something to suit everyone.
From our humble beginnings, QUEST has grown to provide a real Australian experience to tens of thousands of students each semester. We’re proud to continuously win awards at the UQ Union Club Awards Night, the UQ Vice Chancellor’s Award for Internationalisation, and gain other recognition outside the UQ community. None of this is possible without our huge army of volunteers – and you! Our members are what make us great.
