Towards International Medical Equality (TIME UQ)

Towards International Medical Equality (TIME) is a not-for-profit, formally registered charitable organisation, targeted for students from the University of Queensland (UQ) who have an interest in global health.

Established in 2005, TIME is currently celebrating 15 years of commitment towards the promotion and establishment of equitable healthcare in Australia and abroad.

Besides having strong partnerships with professional organisations within Australia and abroad, we pride ourselves on our four project streams: Refugee Health, Indigenous Health, Maternal Health, and International Medical Aid.

We are active in global health advocacy and some of our past events have included a Hackathon, Birthing Kit Packing, Fundraising, Information Seminars, Rally organising, Red Party and Fashion Show. We are also involved with other groups and organisations to help with increasing Refugee Health Literacy through education.
