U-Cue Pool Club

The U-Cue Pool Society is a social club that hosts a weekly pool (billiards) competition in the Red Room. We also play casual pool and give free lessons on our table in the Clubs & Societies Room.

We host other social activities such as parties, BBQs and pool crawls (a pub crawl but with pool!). Through our sponsors, members have access to discounts at venues across Brisbane and Fortitude Valley. We aim to provide a fun and inclusive environment for anyone interested in cue sports.

What events does UQPool host?

We host weekly singles or doubles competitions in the Red Room. Casual pool, lessons for new players and training sessions. Parties at our sponsor venues. Pool crawls, House parties, BBQs and sometimes there is cake.

Will there be many events for me to go to if I'm under 18?

Unfortunately the majority of our events are at 18+ venues. However we also plan to hold meet ups in the Clubs and Societies Room.
