UQ Association of Biomedical Students (UQABS)

UQABS aims to cater to all biomedical students, regardless of what they wish to do with their biomedical degree. For those wishing to pursue higher research, we run our Honors Night, allowing prospective research students to meet and network with potential supervisors. Those interested in the biomedical industry have the opportunity to connect with various pharmaceutical, biotechnology and biomedical companies via our Industry Networking Night. Finally, those looking to study medicine can utilize the numerous GAMSAT seminars we run in partnership with our sponsors.

Be sure to also check out our variety of social events, from launch parties to yacht parties and more. Additionally, our collaborations with other UQU societies allows all our UQABS members the opportunity to mix and mingle with not only other science societies, but different faculties at UQ!
