We are Queensland’s biggest Labor Club with events running almost every week.

Labor has always aimed to, in the words of former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam:

“Promote equality, to involve the people of Australia in the decision-making processes of our land, and to liberate the talents and uplift the horizons of the Australian people.”

This club is based on the tenets of an evolving Labor Party and is designed to bring students together from all walks of life by hosting a variety of entertaining political and social events.

We have a strong alumni who include many former and sitting politicians including, Queensland Premiers, Peter Beattie and Annastacia Palaszczuk, the former Deputy Premier Paul Lucas, State Ministers Cameron Dick and Stirling Hinchliffe and the former Deputy Prime Minister and Treasurer, Wayne Swan.
