UQ Biomedical Engineering Society (UQ BMES)

Moving on from being EWH, UQ's Biomedical Engineering Society focusses on increasing research and industry connections for club members and broadens exposure to the biomedical engineering field.

UQ BMES welcomes all who are interested in biomedical engineering and technology and wanting to explore or work within the field. With new study pathways for biomedical engineering at UQ introduced in 2021, BMES provides a social platform for students to connect with their fellow BME students and expand their interest in biomedical engineering.

We are also driven to connect students to biomedical research and industry through our society. Whether you’re looking to make new friends at university, interested in the field or wanting to get connected to research and industry, we encourage you to come join us!
