The University of Queensland Formula Racing Society (UQFRS) serves as a safe and inclusive community for old and new fans to gather and celebrate our shared love of Formula Motorsport (F1, F2, F3 and FE). We recognised a noticeable gap in the UQ (and wider) community — where many F1 memes and references were shared, but no club or space for people to go to. Following this, the UQFRS was established, where we now flourish over a number of platforms, coupled with our in-person events.
Whether you’d like to join our private Facebook group, follow our public Facebook page, or nerd out with other F1 lovers in our Discord, there is room for all. Events such as post-race debriefs, Australian GP party and our Sim-racing Nights is what we are famous for with a pub crawl and go-karting event planned for the future. Come join our awesome club to experience all we have to offer.
