UQ German Club (UQGC)

The UQ German Club or UQGC is a multi-award winning, student-run society that aims to promote German language and culture on campus and in the wider Brisbane community. Our dedicated group of student executives run a number of events throughout the year that include language activities (Kaffee Klatsch, Bier und Sprechen, etc), movie nights, BBQs and cultural trips to events such as Oktoberfest. The club is inclusive of all language abilities and welcomes new members with open arms. Furthermore, we work closely with the dynamic German community in Brisbane, providing countless opportunities for our members to be involved in. UQGC celebrated its' 10-year anniversary in 2022 and is ever growing and thriving.
