UQ Mechatronics and Robotics Society (UQMARS)

MARS is focused on developing the mechatronics skills of its members through projects, workshops and competitions.

UQ’s Mechatronics and Robotics Society (UQ MARS) is a student club for anyone with an interest in robotics and mechatronic engineering! We have weekly meetings throughout the year, where we work on robotics projects collaboratively, and share new ideas and skills with each other. We also hold social events, and industry talks to benefit the professional development of our members. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience and year level, so come get involved and join us!

“The best way to get involved with the UQ MARS community is to join our Discord server!”

FAQs

UQ MARS has a membership form you can fill out on our website, or by asking the facebook page where one of our executive members can help you. Membership is $5 annually.

No! Mechatronics students may make up the majority of our members, but UQ MARS is open to any student at UQ with an interest in the field and a desire to get involved. As mechatronic systems are a composite of many different aspects of engineering, we highly encourage interested Mechanical, Electrical, Software and IT majors to sign up.
