Running continuously for almost 25 years, PAIN is UQ’s club for all physics students and anyone interested in engaging with the vibrant physics community at our university. We run weekly social events each Friday so check out our Facebook page to learn more!
PAIN works closely with the School of Maths and Physics to provide students studying physics and anyone interested with weekly social activities to alleviate the stress of study (including free pizza)! We also run fortnightly events for the more academically inclined.
Our main event each year is Astrocamp which runs in either the Winter break and is a fun retreat for anyone who enjoys stargazing and spending time with friends. To find out more about any of our events, check out our Facebook page or send us a message if you would like to join! We operate out of the Physics Tea Room in the Parnell Building (07) where anyone can come to study or catch up with their friends.
