UQ SRC is a running club for anyone and everyone! We host runs, walks, and events most days of the week for people of all skill and experience levels, so you can join us as much or as little as you’d like. If you’re keen to get active and make a bunch of friends along the way, then this is the club for you!
We usually chat as we run, getting to know each other while keeping fit at the same time. Most days we meet on campus, so you can drop in after class and enjoy a run with us. Our most common runs are Social Runs, where we run or walk at conversational pace, whatever that happens to be for you. We also have Casual Runs which are geared towards new runners, and Interval Training sessions for anyone looking to increase their speed. Occasionally, we also have morning Café Runs and Southbank Long Runs.
In addition to our Weekly Runs, we also host several running-based events throughout the year, including two Running Festivals, Redroom Runs, Pizza Runs, Giant Tiggy, Donut Dash, Glowstick Run, and much more!
Two highlights on the UQ SRC calendar are our biggest social events of the year, Semester 1 Pubcrawl and Semester 2 Ball. Join all your new running buddies at two of the best parties of the year!
