Our goal is to create a playground not only for Vietnamese students studying at UQ, but also for international students and those of other universities who are interested in learning more about the Vietnamese culture and also in networking with Vietnamese students across Brisbane.
UQVISA can be counted upon as a close companion for members as they spend their time at UQ, especially for those freshmen at UQ in regards to accommodation, study and life – many of UQVISA’s members have spent many years in Brisbane, and no doubt are more than willing to answer any questions posed by Brisbane newbies.
Throughout the semester, UQVISA runs academic, social and cultural events/functions to promote Vietnamese culture, encourage interaction among members and strengthen mutual network. And of course, to bring fun to EVERYONE! 😉
