The UQ Yacht Club is the University of Queensland’s first and only nautical themed social club. We were established in 2012 with the aim of providing a place for UQ students to meet new people, make lifelong friends and go on the odd adventure – all while wearing silly hats and maintaining a tenuous link to all things aquatic.
So what can you expect from the UQ Yacht Club in 2019? This year we’re hosting a load of great events for our members, such as pub crawls, BBQ’s, camping trips, beach trips, boat parties, regular red room sessions and more. If you’re lucky we might even take you out on an actual yacht one day.
