UQ Brain & Spine (UQBnS)

Welcome to UQ Brain and Spine, the vibrant student club at the University of Queensland dedicated to neuroscience, neurology, and neurosurgery. We bring together medical students and undergraduates with a shared passion for understanding the complexities of the brain. Our club provides a unique platform for students interested in both the medical and research aspects of neuroscience. We organize engaging events such as dementia symposiums, discussions on epilepsy research, and physician and researcher-guided journal clubs.

UQ Korean Medical Society (UQKMS)

University of Queensland Korean Medical Society is an organisation that aims to provide and support opportunities for our fellow students to improve academically in a safe environment, to network those across various years within MD and the community, and to socialise and meet new peers in small groups. School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences Research Student Social Club (SCMB RSSC)

The School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB) Research Student Social Club (RSSC) runs multiple events throughout the year aimed at promoting a more collegial atmosphere between SCMB members. We host biweekly social mixers for all SCMB staff and postgraduate students to meet, network, and unwind. In addition to the mixer events, the social club also runs regular sporting activities. Social sporting events have included beach volleyball, tennis, netball, basketball and ultimate frisbee. We sponsor and are heavily involved in the famous inter-institute soccer tournament, which brings friendly competition to institutions and groups such as: AIBN, IMB, TRI, SBMS, PACE, QBI, and SCMB.

Communication and Arts Postgraduate Society (CAPS)

CAPS aims to provide opportunities for Communication and Arts postgraduate students to socialise, networking and professional development opportunities, research training activities and aims to promote the mental health and wellbeing of Communication and Arts postgraduate students.

University of Queensland Graduate Union of Taiwanese Students (UQGUTS)

“UQ-GUTS” is a social club and an international Taiwanese community registered at the University of Queensland Union. The main purpose of this organisation is to create a platform for information-sharing and resource exchange between the UQ Taiwanese postgraduate students. Also, UQ-GUTS assists people who are going to study at the UQ settle down the different living and academic environment in Australia. UQ-GUTS welcomes you to join this big family. No matter you are a current student, future student or UQ alumnus, we sincerely encourage you to share your valuable experience at the UQ or at work.

UQ Business School Postgraduate Association (UQ BSPA)

UQ BSPA is an official social and industry network for postgraduate students within the UQ Business School which aims to establish close relationships amongst postgraduate students, organise career-related and networking events for the student members and to develop networking opportunities with industry professionals, UQ Business School and UQ Alumni Association.

UQ Public Health Association (UQ PHA)

UQ PHA is a faculty-based student society for undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in talking or learning about public health, health sciences, environmental health or other related areas.

Nursing and Midwifery Student Association (NAMSA)

NAMSA aims to unite the undergraduate, master and postgraduate Nursing and Midwifery Students of UQ as well as provide Nursing and Midwifery students with an association which represents their interests and views on campus. We also want to facilitate social and academic engagement within the Nursing and Midwifery student community.
