We represent the interests of UQ students and run independent services, events and outlets to enhance your student experience including Student Advocacy and Support (SAS); 11 retail, food and beverage outlets and a fantastic campus culture. As an independent body, UQU represent students on all important university committees to ensure your voice is heard on all university matters.

Events

Clubs & Societies

We also offer over 210+ clubs and societies to suit your hobbies or interests you didn’t know you had. Whether you’re joining a religious, special interest, postgraduate or faculty club you’ll benefit from social activities and networking opportunities here at UQ.

Student Advocacy & Support (SAS)

Student Advocacy & Support (SAS) is an independent, short term support service for all UQ students. SAS can provide you with assistance on matters relating to advocacy, support and university decisions. SAS can support you on matters relating to Education, Job Preparation, Legal, Migration and Welfare & Wellbeing.

Food and Retail

The more you support UQU outlets, the more we can support you! All additional UQU outlets proceeds help us deliver the best possible student services.

We offer food, beverage, retail and entertainment outlets at St Lucia including secondhand textbooks, lollies, fresh salads, gourmet pizzas and even a cinema! Support your UQU and visit Darwin’s, Main Course, Pizza Caffe, On a Roll Bakery, Lolly Shop, Pantry Sixty Three, Bam Boo Haus, Secondhand Texts & Stationery, REDROOM, and Schonell Cinema.
