Hi, I’m Anikka and I am one of the Goorie Berrimpa Officers for 2023!
I am a Kamilaroi woman from North Queensland, currently in my second year of Health Science at UQ. I am excited to be working alongside Misha as your Goorie Officers this year and look forward to meeting so many new people along the way.
I hope to use this role to improve the University experience for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at UQ. I value the importance of providing a voice for First Nations students at the Union and advocating for all your concerns and interests throughout the year. The Goorie Berrimpa Student Collective is an amazing supportive and safe place for Indigenous students that I look forward to being a part of in 2023 .
