Hello, I’m Erin (she/her)! I’m in my final year of my Bachelor of Music (Honours) / Bachelor of Education (Secondary). I am particularly passionate about mental health in education, completing my honours thesis in 2022 on the topic of music performance anxiety in the Australian secondary music classroom. You may have seen me around in the UQU community as Secretary and Vice President of the UQ Education Society, or as the School of Education representative on the Academic Advocacy Network.
This year in my role as Women’s Collective Chair, I am passionate about developing a safe and strong community. This includes hosting regular events as well as creating a comfortable Women’s Room space at both St Lucia and Gatton. I also endeavour to fight for the rights and safety of women at UQ
