Hi, my name is Jeryn (she/her), and I am Co-Postgraduate Officer for UQU and Co-President of the Association of Postgraduate Students (APS). I completed my Bachelor of Science at UQ in 2018, and Masters of Bioinformatics Research Extensive at UQ in 2020. I am currently a PhD Candidate conducting collaborative research across the Faculty of Medicine and the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology.
As part of my role in the UQ Union and APS, I will be representing all Postgraduate Students at the University. My priorities will be to advocate for the rights of postgraduate students, and working to promote and improve students’ mental health and wellbeing.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at postgrad@uqu.com.au
