Hi, I’m Laura! I’m currently studying Linguistics here at UQ. I’m a socialist and have gotten involved in a number of activist campaigns over the last few years. The first protest I ever attended was the School Strike for Climate in 2019 and have been involved in climate activism ever since. I’ve helped build rallies to free the refugees, for LGBTI rights and a number of other campaigns.
As a first-time Environment Collective Officer, I want to get more students involved in environmental activism and help build a movement that can win climate justice and a liveable planet.
