The UQ Union Association of Postgraduate Students is the peak student representative organisation for postgraduate students at UQ – simple enough. Founded in 2011 to unite the variety of postgraduate clubs, societies and informal groups exist around UQ, APS exists to encourage a postgraduate community, promote postgraduate wellbeing and provide a voice for postgraduate students at UQ.
Broadly speaking APS operates over three portfolios:
The best thing is, you’re automatically a member! As a postgraduate student at UQ, you contribute to your membership each semester or research quarter through the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
